<the causes frequently observed>
(1) A label is not peeled off from a backing paper during auto-calibration.
(2) I-mark (black mark) is positioned on the media sensor during auto-calibration.
<measure>
Perform the auto-calibration for the selected media sensor.
The options are as follows:
Adjusts both the Gap sensor and I-mark sensor.
Adjusts the I-mark sensor.
Adjust the label top sensor.
Please refer to the following and perform the calibration.

For adjusting [Gap + I-Mark]/[Gap]/[I-Mark]
|
Remove the label from the liner and set the liner so the I-mark is not above the I-mark sensor.
For media without liners, such as wristbands or journal paper, load the media as is.

For adjusting [Label Top]
|
Remove the label from the liner and set the liner so the I-mark is not above the label top sensor.

Tap the type of sensor from the list to be adjusted.

When the confirmation screen appears, tap  .
|
If message indicating adjustment failed, load the media correctly and try again.

Tap .

Confirm the results of adjusting the media sensor.

If you adjusted [Gap + I-Mark]/[Gap]/[I-Mark]
|
Display the Offline screen, tap [FEED], and then confirm that the media is fed correctly.

If you adjusted [Label Top]
|
Display the Online screen. Confirm that the media is correctly adjusted to the print start position by the Label Waste Prevention function. [01-00081-EN]
