CL-NX Cannot Read Barcodes When Using the Barcode Check Function

Are you using the barcode checker connected to the product?

Connect the barcode checker to the product.

Is the barcode checker connected to the product correctly?

Connect the barcode checker to the product correctly.

Is the barcode checker icon displayed in the status bar at the upper right of the display?

Check that the barcode check function is enabled.

After that, power the product off and then on again, and check if the icon appears.

Contact your SATO technical support if the error cannot be resolved.

Perform a test read with the barcode checker. Is the test read successful?

If the test read is successful, check the readability by actually printing. Is reading successful?

If reading is successful, the product is ready to read barcodes. Understand the specifications and regulations of the barcode check function before operation.

Is the printing normal?

If the printing is normal, adjust the position and angle of the barcode checker.

Is the print head dirty?

Clean the print head.
