How to Set Up Wi-Fi Communication

Resolution/Answer
Before you begin, ensure you have:
A PW4NX printer with the wireless LAN interface installed.
A computer with the SATO All-In-One Tool installed.
Access to your wireless network's SSID and security credentials.
A USB cable to connect the printer to your computer.
Step 1: Connect the Printer to Your Computer
Turn off the PW4NX printer.
Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable.
Power on the printer.
Step 2: Launch the All-In-One Tool
Open the SATO All-In-One Tool on your computer.
Select the connected PW4NX printer from the list of available devices.
Navigate to the "Interface" settings section.
Step 3: Configure Wireless LAN Settings
Option A: Using the Printer's Control Panel
On the printer's display, go to Settings > Interface > Network > LAN.
Set the Mode to Infrastructure.
Select the desired SSID from the list of available networks.
Enter the Security Type (e.g., WPA2) and the corresponding Password.
Set the IP Address mode to either DHCP or Static, depending on your network configuration.
If using a static IP, enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway.
Save the settings and reboot the printer to apply the changes.
Option B: Using the All-In-One Tool
In the All-In-One Tool, navigate to the Wireless LAN settings section.
Enter the SSID, Security Type, and Password.
Configure the IP Address settings as needed.
Apply the settings and reboot the printer.
Step 4: Verify the Connection
After the printer restarts, navigate to Settings > Interface > Network > LAN.
Check that the IP Address is correctly assigned.
Attempt to ping the printer's IP address from your computer to ensure connectivity.
Step 5: Install Printer Drivers
Download and install the appropriate printer drivers for your operating system from the SATO website.
During installation, select the network printer option and enter the printer's IP address.
Complete the installation process and print a test page to confirm proper setup.
