RS-232C connection procedure
・RS-232C specification: Dedicated Mini DIN (RS-232C)
1) With the printer facing forward, open the DC input terminal cover on the right-hand side, and set the DIP switchs as follows;
DSW-1 = OFF
DSW-2 = OFF
DSW-3 = OFF
DSW-4 = OFF
2) With the printer facing forward, open the RS-232C interface cover on the right-side, and connect the dedicated RS-232C cable to the printer connector.
3) Connect the otherhand to the a laptop or handheld terminal.
NOTE: Always turn the power OFF before connecting or disconectiong the cable.
